Having therefore such hope, we speak with much confidence: and not as Moses put a veil upon his face, so that the children of Israel might not look upon the face of that which is made void: but their senses were dulled, for even unto this day the same veil remains in the reading of the Old Testament, not revealed, for it is made void in Christ: but even unto this day, when Moses is read, a veil is placed upon their heart, but when
we are pilgrims from the body unto the Lord. For we walk by faith and not by sight: we are confident, however, and have a good will to be pilgrims rather from the body and to be present with the Lord: and therefore we strive, whether absent or present, to please him: for we must all be manifested before the tribunal of Christ: so that everyone may report what he did through his own body, whether good or evil.
