Thus, God the Almighty has also created the lapidem philosophorum philosopher's stone (as it is commonly called) so wondrously, and has added to it such power and properties, the like of which no creature in the whole world is to be found, and this not only in bodily things, but also in the high, heavenly, and indeed divine mysteries, together with other necessary points of the Christian religion, which are portrayed therein in such a way, and so gloriously and lovely, that a pious, God-loving heart, which understands it, cannot sufficiently amuse itself with great astonishment over it.
