Finally, the Spirit of Wine is drawn off by a very slow distillation, leaving behind the most precious Tincture of Antimony in the form of an oil. Dose.The dose is from 3 to 5 or 8 drops. This is truly a most highly praised medicine for the restoration and renewal of the entire human body. When administered in a suitable vehicle a substance used to carry the active medicine, such as wine or water, specifically wine: Use and Powers.it drives all corrupt humors the four bodily fluids—blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile—which ancient medicine sought to keep in balance from the body, and it does so without manifest evacuation meaning it heals through internal correction rather than causing purging or vomiting, solely through the correction of those wicked fluids. It assists in obstructions of the liver, dissipates dropsy edema or swelling caused by fluid retention, cures jaundice, and removes Morphea localized skin discoloration and Leprosy, for the elimination of which almost nothing more excellent can be sought. It rectifies the spleen, generates joy, heals scurvy, soothes pains of the womb, encourages menstruation, and breaks apart calculi stones in the kidney or bladder. Another calcination of stibium: Take one pound each of choice Antimony and decrepitated salt salt that has been heated until it stops crackling or "popping".
