The second law of the Rosicrucian Fraternity: that it is regarding the changing of habit for those traveling abroad out of necessity and without prejudice to another.
The third law is that they ought to meet every year on a certain day and place, so that a union of minds may truly be made, and a conference on arcane matters.
The fourth law is regarding the choosing of a person suitable to the place of anyone for the continuation of the Fraternity, when individuals cannot endure.
The fifth law, that the letters R. C. ought to be used for the Fraternity as a characteristic symbol or seal by which it may be recognized.
The sixth and final law is that the Rosicrucian Fraternity ought to be hidden for one hundred years.
What advantage or disadvantage can happen to the Republic and the republic of letters from that Fraternity, being kept secret forever, or revealed for a certain time (as has now been done).
That many fabulous things are spread under the name of the Fraternity, of which, however, it is not that [the Fraternity], but the unbridled many-headed
