time, which I am forced to spend on other more necessary matters. However, because it is considered no small praise to do good for many by spreading one's benefits in many places, I thought it worthwhile to omit other things and add the promised seasonings to butter and cheese for my aforementioned foods, with, however, as much brevity as can be conveniently achieved. If a longer interval of time had been granted to me, I would have provided the sugar with greater purity and a more pleasing taste to the seasonings, which the speed of time prevents me from doing. Furthermore, because I promised the fourth part of the Prosperity of Germany with the discovery of the best Metallic Medicines, in order to stand by my promises, it seemed advisable to me to publish these most effective seasonings of mine under the title of the Fourth Part of the Prosperity of Germany, and this for the greater reason that I did not have enough time to describe other matters.
