The first is: to prepare good Saltpeter potassium nitrate from despised and everywhere obvious subjects.

The second: by the aid of saltpeter, to extract fugitive and fixed Gold, Silver, and Copper from minerals, without any liquation and fusion by fire, with the highest utility and huge profit, easily and abundantly.

The third, which will be shown, will be the Truth and certainty of Alchemy, which will be proven not to be an empty dream, a deceptive phantasy, or a fallacy, as the great crowd of haters and the ignorant have hitherto abused it; But a most true art of the greatest moment, by whose aid, using fire and salt, all despised and not very profitable metals and minerals, such as Lead, Iron, Tin, Bismuth, Cobalt, Zinc, Calamine Stone zinc ore, Marcasites metallic sulfide minerals, and all other fugitive minerals can be fixed and matured in such a way that, with few expenses and with the highest utility, much true and constant Gold and Silver can be elicited from them.

These three Arcana secret methods of truly great moment would be, in my judgment, worthy that by their revelation the Magnates, and princes, and other Fathers of the common Fatherland should be made participants.
