And in summary, the eruption of Christ from the sealed sepulcher, that appearance made to two going to the castle of Emmaus, the manifestation through closed doors, was a divine and supernatural thing. Many other examples could still be brought from the sacred code, if brevity were not to be observed.

To supernatural things are counted all the prodigies of metallic mines, the corporeal apparitions of spirits, phantoms, pygmies, and dwarfs, who very often present themselves to sight, and portend good or evil, ruin and opulence, likewise all the figures and impressions of metals, which are found under the earth among men, fish, and other living creatures formed through the imagination of the three principles, matured and cooked by the earth and other Elements, to which also belong the monsters of the earth and such things, which are given in strange forms under the earth at set times, outside of which they can be found nowhere else, although at another time they may truly appear again and be presented to our eyes.

Hither also are referred all visions, accustomed to be made through waters, mirrors, crystals, and other media, through seals and characters, which nevertheless differ greatly; for some are only natural, yet exhibiting supernatural visions. The rest, arisen from incantations, are neither natural nor supernatural but Diabolical, therefore they are numbered among Demonic Magic, and are deservedly forbidden to all Christians.
