All true philosophers as well as deceptive sophists call out—though with a different and distinct understanding, and also more precise recognition of the same. The former seek their salvation according to the basis of nature in the true Mercurio, which in truth, because of the fiery quality within it, does not make the hands wet, and yet is subjected to a certain kind of humidity. The latter want to find their fortune against nature in common Mercurio or quicksilver, which is of a moist and cold complexion—
