Explanation of the Letters.

A. The block.
B. The bottom hole in the block, in which the lower valve or plate, and in front of it the perforated sheet metal piece, is located.
C. The first upper hole, which leads into the pump pipe.
D. The other upper hole, which leads into the spray pipe, and in which the other valve or small plate is located.
E. The pump pipe.
F. The spray pipe.
G. The pump handle, piston, or small rod.
H. The small sheet-metal pipe that one attaches to the pipe F.
