An engraving of the heraldic insignia for the College of Canons Regular in Rothenbuch. At the top is a ribbon banner with the letters "A P C R". Below this sits a bishop's miter and a crozier positioned between two joined oval vignettes. The left vignette depicts a large leafy tree with the motto "Protegit et recreat." (He protects and recreates) inscribed along its inner border. The right vignette depicts a beehive with bees and a tall flowering plant, with the motto "Exemplo Non Imperio." (By example, not by command) inscribed along its inner border. At the bottom, a rectangular cartouche with decorative ribbon ends contains the identifying text for the institution.
