Lest the booklet meanwhile be deprived of all utility for the studious Youth and learned Men visiting the Garden frequently, let it be known to them that those earthen pots of our Garden, which are distinguished by white numbers, contain the same Plants which the similar numbers of this Catalog indicate; and thus the trouble of noting down the names of many Herbs, or requesting the same from the Botanist, can be lightened in part.
