chem. page 30, §. 44. "I think, as far as can be gathered from everything," he says, "that Basilius was a true artist, but that he was castrated corrupted/edited by the editors, and that what he inculcates regarding the bath of the fighters and regarding vitriol is to be understood in a sense far other than what they promise at first glance."
