that he might write a book on the Apostolic Church; an apologetic epistle for the Lutheran Church against the calumnies of Stephan Iavorskii; furthermore, an outline of a commentary on the truth of the evangelical religion, just as the Lutheran Church professes it, and an appendix to universal theology, and again serve others with his sacred studies. With these commentaries finished, the intention was, indeed, to recall the former labor, consecrated to philosophy, and to explain with notes the parts that remained, namely the theoretical and practical parts, and in this way to lead the entire work to its end.
