The Division of the Universal Globe of the Earth.

A decorative drop cap 'T' is shown within a square frame. The ornate letter is entwined with foliage and flanked by two human figures who appear to be supporting the horizontal bar of the letter. The face of the terrestrial globe, with virtue acting outside the natural position of the elements, and brought forth from the midst of the globe of water, was accustomed in ancient centuries to be divided into three parts. Now, however, a fourth has also been discovered, in the Hemisphere subject to our habitation, of very ample circumference, although it has not yet been presented with any certain interior description.
