just as from the first intellect united to the human body, so that it may measure time, natural things persevere in their course, notwithstanding any Vicissitudes: so, although the Grace of God, and consequently the Church of God to which it was entrusted, may appear to have been cut off by various tumults and the movements of human affairs, nevertheless He has made His Ecclesia Church one and the same, continuous from the first parents until the last Man to be created and ruled.

Furthermore, just as we see that by the concurrence of the Quatuor Elementorum Four Elements, and by a singular property or temperament infused from heaven and by the will of the Creator alone, through the Quatuor Anni Four Seasons of the Year all things show their fruits equivalently, eminently, potentially, or prescriptively, and finally actually or really: so it is necessary that by the same Analogy and temperament in the lower Quatuor Aetatum Four Ages of men, and by a singular grant of Grace, the Church has been ruled by the same course and must be ruled until the end of the world.
4. For since all Generals retain the natures in some way of those things from which they arise, it is necessary, since the Ecclesia Church arises from the concurrence of Particular men in divine worship, both
