A circular woodcut emblem. In the center is the IHS Christogram a monogram symbolizing the name of Jesus topped with a cross and three nails below, surrounded by a radiant sunburst. This central image is enclosed within a thick, ornate wreath of various flowers, including roses, lilies, and sunflowers. Two inscriptions follow the outer curve of the wreath: to the left, "Give glory to His name. original Latin: 'Date Nomini ejus magnificentiam' Ecclesiasticus 39:19–20"; and to the right, "Blossom like flowers, and give forth a fragrance original Latin: 'Florete flores, et date odorem'."
