Heinrich Philipp Gudenius (n), Mr. Christian Gottlieb Jöcher (o), Veit Ludwig von Seckendorff (p), and several others. Some of these writers, however, have only mentioned him in passing; others, on the contrary, have diligently endeavored to establish a monument of honor for him. Yet, all these authors original: "Auctores" have nonetheless left me a considerable amount of material to gather. It is, however, a pity that neither he himself nor anyone else has made mention of the parents of this gallant and well-deserving man.
