However, that shall not happen, but we present to you what we have felt of natural sciences as it is, not as useful in itself, as it will well be able to provide material and entry for thinking up greater things; for the infinite multitude of things not yet comprised or understood extends immeasurably, and is greater than can be considered by all. Now, without ambition or ambiguity, without makeup or any deceit, we have brought to light what others have passed over in silence for a long time, not wanting to say it, or through the envy of the one who knew it
