The New Living Way Prepared by Christ

Just say to your own: We have served sin long enough with one another, and to have and maintain fleshly peace, we have constantly been conducive and helpful to one another in fulfilling the avaricious, proud, and lustful animal will. It is high time that we turn around, do penance, and desist from our avarice, pride, and lusts. Alas, I can no longer do your will! I can no longer follow and obey your lusts! Alas, I can no longer be conducive to your unchaste desires and fleshly will, and strengthen you therein through constant habit; they fight against the salvation of our souls: My Jesus convinces me of this in my inward being, His Spirit rebukes me quite harshly, I must feel hellish fear as often as I do and have done your will. I must now obey my GOD more than you; I must now become truly faithful to Jesus, I must obey His chastening grace. I want to be obedient to the divine conviction and impulses in my conscience. Then you will find this precious Evangelical truth of Christ fulfilled in you and your blood-relatives, how GOD makes a division and true separation among wicked and pious blood-relatives. That a godless father then rages and raves against his son, who truly wants to become pious, and says: What, do you also want to become a fool, a fanatic original: "Schwermer", a Quaker, an enthusiast, and a separatist. You shall not hold to such disorderly fanatics; You shall do according to my will, according to my commandments that I give you: or I will deal with you thus and so, disinherit you, have you put into the house of correction.

If a wife has put on the true purity and chastity of Jesus in her inward being, and is further urged by the love of Jesus to let her body and all its members be sanctified by Jesus and prepared as a temple of the Holy Spirit, then she will no longer be able to live on in the atrocious unchastity with her husband, but says to him: Alas my dear husband! I must feel hellish fear whenever I serve the lusts of the flesh with you, and surrender my body to your unchaste desires. Alas, I can no longer have fellowship with you in these abominations. An animal does indeed stop when the purpose is obtained, why then not we humans? Besides this, I am convinced by GOD's Spirit that Jesus will now soon come to His glory, and will lead His bride, the firstborn, who have let themselves be cleansed of all defilements of the flesh and the spirit and complete their sanctification with and in Him under various sufferings and tribulations, with Himself to the full marriage, into His Father's kingdom.
