The New Living Way Prepared by Christ

the power of the devil far, far above JESUS’ dearly-acquired grace, and the power of the death and resurrection; believing that JESUS could not and would not completely destroy the works of the devil in me and root them out of my heart, completely and entirely. Now that He has made me recognize these abominable sins and Satans-Lehren teachings of Satan through His Spirit, I will now bow all my sinful lusts and desires under His rod, chastising grace, and judgments with all joy; every day I will gladly take and drink the cup of suffering from His hand, and will gladly let the fire of His righteousness melt me down completely, refine and purify me, until He has led the judgment to total victory in me over all the works of the devil. Thus GOD leads my right and cause quite gloriously. He will bring me into the light; indeed, He is already doing it. For among all such sufferings and trials, He demonstrates to me with His pure love and divine wisdom and power that such power of GOD can confess and prove itself before everyone through my outer man, in the true denial of myself, of my wife, of my children, and of all things of this world, in the willing and joyful acceptance of all suffering, in patient perseverance under them, in real active love toward the worst enemies and persecutors, in humility and gentleness toward them. Consequently, I let the light which JESUS has ignited in the innermost part of the heart shine before men in words and works, and thus see my delight in His grace and ever praise, laud, and extol Him. My enemies will have to see it and stand in shame, they who now, at the time of such suffering and tribulation, said to me:

Where is the LORD your GOD, your protection, your deliverance from our hands?

My eyes will see that all those who hold up my prayer—which I perform daily for them—with their continuing malice, and do not want to repent, will be trampled like dirt in the street. And thus you receive, in submitting to suffering through love which is stronger than death, the most glorious victory over the hidden powers of darkness, over all your enemies, and win them for your JESUS.
