will, at the request of Master Raymundus Lullus, a Catalan from Majorca, that they heard from the said Master Raymundus the art or science which he says he made or discovered, the same Master Raymundus. Which art or science begins: God, with your grace, wisdom, and love, begins the Ars Brevis Short Art, which is an image of the art titled: God, with your supreme perfection, begins the Ars Generalis Ultima Ultimate General Art. The reason why we make this short art is so that the Great Art may be more easily known.
