I have also omitted the improvers of the sciences in the fifteenth century; partly because several individual reports on them are already available in print, and they have also been included by Niceron refers to Jean-Pierre Niceron, author of a multi-volume biographical work, and because I might well decide, on the advice of some patrons, to continue these reports in time in a somewhat modified manner, and then make a beginning with them.

For better use of the work, I have appended several indices at the end.
