regarding, by whom were
they seen, separated
from us :
Moving concerning the images: such a one is our own itself I say; and it is equally unasked, what are the things outside of those superior to us; by which they are separated from each other, but never distinguished by differences under a self-knowledge, do not conceive the images as being about the generated and irrational animal. Nor do we ever admit such things, neither of those participating in one essence, nor having a division into individuals; nor continuity, which any of the indefinite of the new receives toward the living of the sun; as is clear to the gods and the superior ones, and to those that are entirely and for all life, changing every state the simply of those with us. But the same simplicity you might assume, either of necessity of reason or of connection or a second; for this is not a separation, or a simple bending of the superior toward the things of the lower ones present. The question proceeded incompletely; for it needed, before this, first; then to share; if so, by activity we shall try, what the images are; as I have asked: by what images were they seen, and to whom alone or to all? For in none of them is it possible to eyes act and suffer contrarily. But some of their activities are absolute and revered?, and are observed without the relation to the opposite. But he does not even admit such movements, of those that are, as acting and suffering, through them. For we do not admit self-motion from the cause of the moved and the mover; but some movement being as through their own essences, and not having it before. It is removed from acting as itself, or being acted upon; we assume it is by itself; where is the worth of the superior ones...
