And since the Men do it, why not the Women, who are accustomed to surpass the Men in piety?
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven, says Christ Matt. 5:16. And this is the summary of everything: fear God and keep his commandments, for that is fitting for ALL men. Eccles. 12:13. Glorify God then in your body, and in your spirit, 1 Cor. 6:20, so that we may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things, Tit. 2:10, according to the ancient and general observance of the reasonable service of God of the Christians, Rom. 12:3.

The Apostle Paul says 1 Cor. 14:40, Let all things be done decently and in order. It is decent and in good order that one prays to God standing or kneeling: for that is what the Holy Men of the Old and New Testament have done, as well as the Christians of the first and ancient Christian church, and that still happens to this very day in all Churches, as much Reformed as others.
From the Old Testament, see Gen. 18:22, 23, where Abraham prays standing; 2 Chron. 7:6, where all Israel (as well Men as Women) stands praising the Lord; Neh. 9:5, where Israel is commanded to stand up to pray: Job 30:20, Jeremiah 15:1 and 18:20 pray standing. Daniel 6:11 and 9:2 pray kneeling, so that Israel prays standing in the Assembly, and Daniel kneeling at home.
In the New Testament Mark 11:25, Christ says to his Disciples: And when you stand praying, etc. Luke 18, the Pharisee and the Publican pray standing in the church, and the Publican went home justified. Christ likely prays standing John 17.
