A detailed copperplate engraved map of Cheshire and the southern part of Lancashire. The coastline on the left shows the Wirral Peninsula flanked by the Mersey and Dee estuaries, opening into the "OCEANUS" (Ocean). A decorative strapwork cartouche on the left contains the map title and a scale bar. The map is densely populated with pictorial symbols for settlements (churches and houses), some within circular park boundaries. Topographic features include stylized hills and several river systems. Neighboring regions are labeled at the map's borders. The engraver's credit is located in the bottom right corner.
