A detailed engraved map from the late 16th century depicting the South and Central regions of Wales. The map covers the counties of Radnorshire, Brecknockshire, Cardiganshire, and Carmarthenshire. Topographical features such as mountains (represented by shaded hummocks), forests, and numerous rivers are illustrated. Major towns are marked with church or building icons. The map is oriented with North (Septentrio) to the right. A decorative title cartouche is located in the upper right, and a scale of miles with the engraver's credit is positioned in the upper center. The four cardinal directions—Septentrio, Oriens, Meridies, and Occidens—are printed along the inner borders.
