A highly detailed copperplate engraved map of the Duchy of Brabant and surrounding territories. The map covers a region from the North Sea coast and Holland in the north to the Prince-Bishopric of Liège in the south. Significant geographical features include the intricate networks of rivers (such as the Schelde, Maas, and Dijle), forested regions, and numerous fortified cities and towns. Major labeled regions include Part of Flanders, Part of Holland, Part of the Duchy of Guelders, Barony of Breda, The Bailiwick of 's-Hertogenbosch, and Land of Liège. In the lower left corner is a large, ornate cartouche featuring the title, supported by allegorical figures and heraldic emblems.
