A hand-colored copperplate engraved map of the Electorate of Brandenburg, the greater part of Mecklenburg, and Pomerania. In the upper left corner is an ornate, multi-colored title cartouche flanked by two figures: a seated man in regal robes holding a scepter and sword, and another figure in armor with a plumed helmet. In the upper right corner, a decorative cartouche displays mileage scales. The Baltic Sea ("Part of the Baltic Sea" or "East Sea") is shown at the top, featuring several three-masted sailing vessels and a compass rose. The map is densely labeled with cities, towns, rivers (including the Elbe and Oder), and forests. Regions are outlined in contrasting colors to show territorial boundaries. A small, framed publisher's imprint is located in the bottom right corner.
