A copperplate engraved map of the County of Namur ("Comitatus Namurci") contained within an oval frame. The space between the oval and the rectangular border is filled with ornate black-and-white scrolling foliage designs. The map depicts rivers (Mosa Meuse and Sambre), forested areas, and numerous towns indicated by small building icons. Cardinal directions are labeled on the inner border: SEPTENTRIO North, MERIDIES South, ORIENS East, and OCCIDENS West. The border also includes degree markings for latitude and longitude.
