A detailed engraved circular map of the Lordship of Utrecht original: "Ultraiectum" set within a square frame. The frame features ornate foliate scrollwork in each corner. The map is oriented with North at the top, with cardinal directions labeled on the border: SEPTENTRIO (North), ORIENS (East), MERIDIES (South), and OCCIDENS (West). The map shows the topography of the region, including the Zuiderzee, the Rhine and Lek rivers, forests, and numerous fortified cities and villages. A decorative title cartouche is located on the right side of the map.
