A detailed engraved map of "Ditio Trans-isulana" (the Lordship of Overijssel, Netherlands), oriented with West at the top. The map is contained within an oval frame, which is set inside a rectangular border featuring degree coordinates and Latin directional labels: OCCIDENS (top/West), SEPTENTRIO (right/North), ORIENS (bottom/East), and MERIDIES (left/South). The four corners between the oval and rectangular borders are filled with ornate, dark foliate scrollwork. In the upper-left quadrant (geographically Southwest), a highly decorative cartouche contains the title "Ditio TRANS-ISULANA" surmounted by the text "Cum gratia et Privil." Just below it is a smaller rectangular frame for the scale, labeled "Milliaria communia". The map displays regional divisions such as Sallandt, Twente, and Drente. Significant water bodies including the "De Zuyder Zee" and the "Isel" (IJssel) and "Vecht" rivers are shown, alongside numerous towns represented by small clusters of buildings and churches, such as Swoll (Zwolle), Deventer, and Campen (Kampen).
