A detailed engraved map of the Duchy of Luxembourg original: "Ducatus Lutzenburgicus" oriented with East at the top. The map is contained within a rectangular border with floral scrollwork in the corners and degree markings along the edges. The cardinal directions are labeled in the margins as East (ORIENS) at the top, South (MERIDIES) at the right, West (OCCIDENS) at the bottom, and North (SEPTENTRIO) at the left. A decorative cartouche on the left side contains the title, topped with a coat of arms. Below the title is a smaller cartouche for the scale of miles. The map depicts rivers, forests, and numerous settlements, including Luxembourg (Lutzenburg), Bastogne, Arlon, and Bouillon.
