An engraving set within an ornate, scalloped decorative frame. It depicts a young child or putto sitting on a stone block, focused on a structure or easel. A cloth or banner is suspended from a wooden frame, bearing the Dutch motto "THROUGH TIME AND DILIGENCE." A bucket or tub sits in the foreground. The artist's initials "J.G." appear at the bottom left of the image and "Del." at the bottom right.
