An etching inside a decorative frame depicts a small, naked child (putto) sitting on a block and working on a piece of fabric stretched over a wooden frame. To the right of the frame is a small structure or sign bearing the inscription "DOOR TYD EN VLYT" (By Time and Diligence). A wooden bucket or tub sits on the ground in the foreground. The image is signed "J. G." in the lower-left corner and "Del." in the lower-right corner.
