doms, Landscapes and Cities, their Appellations, Situa-
tions, Fortifications, Rivers, Sea-Ports, Gold- and Silver-
Mines, Pearl-Fisheries, and manifold Wonders;
Besides the Acts of War and Memorable Deeds of the Discoverers,
having occurred in the opening up of these Lands; furthermore their dangerous
and rare Encounters, remarkable Histories,
gruesome Destructions, prominent Colonies,
and establishment of Trades there.
All throughout enriched with necessary Maps, many
Art-Prints and suitable Registers.
A framed rectangular printer's mark depicts a landscape. On the left, a man sits near a terrestrial globe and a small fire. In the center, a stone plinth or monument is inscribed with the motto "THROUGH TIME AND DILIGENCE" original: "DOOR TYD EN VLYT". To the right, another figure works near a tree. The entire scene is decorative and illustrative of the publisher's identity.
