An octagonal copperplate engraving shows a person, possibly an allegorical figure or a child, sitting on a wooden block and working at a large screw-press or loom mechanism. In the foreground is a wooden tub. A plaque on the side of the machine contains the motto: "THROUGH TIME AND DILIGENCE." To the right is a blooming flower. The artist's initials "J.G. Del." are visible at the bottom.
