An engraving within an ornate octagonal frame depicts a small child or cherub working at a large screw-press. A sheet of paper within the press is inscribed with the motto "BY TIME AND DILIGENCE." To the right of the press is a miniature building and a lily in bloom. A woven basket sits on the floor in the foreground. The illustration is signed "J.G." on the bottom left and "Del." on the bottom right.
