The High VELUWE.
A detailed, hand-colored engraved map of the County of Holland. The map depicts the coastal and inland regions of Holland, showing cities, towns, drainage systems, and extensive waterways. The North Sea is featured on the left and top, while the Zuiderzee is on the right. Two large compass roses with radiating rhumb lines decorate the sea areas, which also contain several small illustrations of sailing ships. In the upper right, a decorative cartouche shows the coat of arms of Holland held by two sea creatures. A box at the bottom center contains scale bars and publication information.
