The Council of the most Illustrious and excellent Prince and our Lord, the Lord Charles of Savoy, etc., Duke, ordinarily residing with him: Let it be manifest to all that, the aforementioned official letters having been presented to us along with the chapters and statutes mentioned therein, and the same having been read and promulgated before our aforementioned most Illustrious Lord today, we have offered ourselves as ready to obey, and we are held to observe the said statutes. In testimony of which, we have caused letters to be granted. Given at Annecy, the tenth day of October, one thousand five hundred and thirteen. The aforementioned newly enacted statutes of Savoy were printed in the most flourishing city of Geneva by N. Louis Cruse, printer in the same, in the current year of our Lord 1513, on the twenty-ninth day of October, by mandate of the Illustrious and most Reverend Father in Christ and Lord, the Lord John of Savoy, Bishop and Prince of the said city.
