The archival label features the coat of arms of the Republic and Canton of Geneva. The shield is divided vertically, showing a demi-eagle on the left and a key on the right. Above the shield is a radiant sun with the "IHS" Christogram. Below the shield is a scroll bearing the motto "POST TENEBRAS LUX" (After darkness, light).
