[Agenda Herbipolensis]

Hear us, Almighty God, and deign to send your holy angel from heaven, who may guard, cherish, protect, visit, and defend all who dwell in this habitation. ¶ Through Christ our Lord.
Grant, we beseech you, O Lord. ¶ Another prayer.
By this creature of the sprinkling of water, grant health of mind, integrity of body, protection of salvation, security of hope, and strengthening of faith, here and in the eternal ages of ages. Amen.

¶ Here begins the order for making and baptizing catechumens from the authentic book of the sacraments of Pope Saint Gregory. And first, the order for baptizing a male, who should be placed at the right hand. And the priest shall breathe into his face and say: Exorcise, unclean spirit, and give place to the coming Holy Spirit, the Paraclete. ¶ Then the priest shall ask the name of the infant and make a cross with his thumb on the infant's forehead and say: ¶ Receive the sign of God the Father Almighty, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. ¶ Prayer.
