FIFTH INSTITUTION.

The eternal Son of God is the character and radiance begotten by the Father from eternal days, Iehoua Jehovah, Adonaj Lord, the Angel of the covenant, delivering the fathers and leading the children of Israel out of Egypt, Wisdom begotten from the mouth of the Most High from eternity, and working together with the Father, the Word made God in the flesh, equal to the Father not by robbery, subsisting in the form of God, and lesser than the Father according to the flesh and the form of a servant, Mediator, King, and High Priest, as he is the Son of God and son of man.

SIXTH INSTITUTION.

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth proceeding from the Father and sent by the Father and the Son into the hearts of believers, who calls himself Adonaj Lord, Iehoua Jehovah, the God of Israel, Creator, regenerator, who searches the mysteries of God, distributes gifts, and effects all gifts and good works in the elect; and speaking in the prophets and apostles, he foretold future events, by whom the elect are sealed as by a pledge of inheritance, and in whose name they are baptized and offered to the churches, and because of the privileges of his Deity and his works, he is adored and worshipped together with the Father and the Son.
