A large circular cosmological diagram represents the Ptolemaic geocentric model. At the center is the Earth, surrounded by concentric spheres representing the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, the Firmament, the Crystalline sphere, and the Primum Mobile, all enclosed within the Empyrean heaven. The outer ring contains the signs of the zodiac and symbols for the planets. The text "HEAVEN, THE HABITATION OF GOD AND ALL THE ELECT" is inscribed in a circular band around the outer edge.
