But it must be held that all those things have their place properly at the beginning, for the cause which we have brought forth.
For where the internal and antecedent Cause already makes the disease in act (which is therefore called by some the continens containing or combined cause, that it may be distinguished from the prior), the third indication, the CURATIVE said in species, arises: which commands us to be intent with every effort to drive the disease from the body.
