to inquire into the true and simple definition and explanation of the Personal union in Christ, which is not natural, but rather supernatural, according to Holy Scripture, and by a comparison of Natural mixture with that Supernatural and Personal union.

Therefore, it is asked and debated in this our sad age, that very personal union, namely of two most diverse Natures in Christ, whether it is some physical mixture, or merely a naked apposition: and on the contrary, what and of what kind is that Personal Union, namely of divinity with human Nature. We shall teach and repeat that, indeed, by certain Reasons and the Authority of Holy Scripture.

We therefore deny by all means that the Personal Union, although it consists of two Natures, is a physical Mixture.
