But to believe or teach this regarding Christ and his personal union, we pronounce most freely to be blasphemous and by no means orthodox.

For the Person of the λόγος Word, or the Deity with its Essential properties, can in no way (however subtle it may be feigned to be) ever be altered, broken, mixed, or changed: since God and the λόγος Word himself is immutable in his Nature. For he is God, and he does not change. Malachi 3. For he remained what he was, and assumed when he willed, that which he was not always.

But the human Nature, although it, the Union having been made, was subjected to Death and passions of every kind: with the Prophet Isaiah chapter 53 attesting this. He (he says regarding Christ) was wounded for our iniquities, and bruised for our crimes. Nevertheless, not even this very Human nature, not even by the least of its Essential parts and properties,
