did it mix with the divinity, much less did it lose them: such as are, indeed, these: To be eternal, and made in Time, to be finite, and infinite, and whatever things are essentially similar to these.

For the finite with the infinite: nor the infinite with the finite are in no way ever mixed, nor can they be mixed.

Nevertheless, it is most orthodox, and in all ways to be most firmly believed, that although the λόγος Word is immense and infinite: yet the finite and circumscribed substance of humanity was assumed into the unity of the person of the λόγος Word, truly, substantially, ὑποστατικῶς hypostatically, and thus, Really, Supernaturally, and Personally.

But if, on account of that personal Union, any mixing or equalization of Natures, namely of the Divine with the human, had occurred at the time of the incarnation: whether it be called partial or total: then indeed this Union, or Real communication of properties, would be by no means supernatural or admirable: but rather
