As regards the surrounding air, the indication for changing the climate is taken from it, as when a pestilential plague spreads: or certainly for correcting the air: and likewise for changing it: For example, heating or cooling it. But if anyone possesses that true and living Anatomy, he will be able to be content with one indication, namely that which is taken from the disease, or from the man of the disease, in whom there are signs entirely similar to those signs which are found in an external remedy. Thus also Galen in the same book of the method of healing, namely 9, chapter 15, recalls all indications to one indication.
