it must be understood that when Athanasius then adds, "The Catholic faith, however, is this, etc.," he certainly did not mean to signify (as some have most lightly feigned) that the entire Catholic faith, which it is necessary to keep entire for salvation, is contained only in those articles which he reviews concerning the mystery of the most holy Trinity and the Incarnation: but he signifies, according to his purpose, that those articles also pertain in the highest degree to the Catholic faith (which indeed extends much more broadly).
