SINCE some theologians of our Society have reviewed the book titled Observations concerning Living Things which are found in Non-Living Things with a curious Micrography, etc., written by Father Philippus Bonanni, a priest of our Society, and have approved that it can be brought to light, we grant permission for it to be sent to the presses, if it shall seem so to those to whom it pertains. In testimony of which, we have given these letters subscribed by our hand and fortified by our seal. Rome, December 22, 1689.
